On May 25, 2004, the SOVEST (Conscience) group
begins a new action by the name Who can become a participant in the action ? Any citizen, who realizes the importance of the "YUKOS Case" for the fate of Russia, and who supports our request that the trials of the criminal cases of Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Platon Lebedev should be passed to the open and independent law court in accordance with the principles of justice and impartiality. How to become a participant in the action? We propose several forms of participation : 1. Sign the Statement of civil organizations about the need for civil control over the "Khodorkovsky Case": please, send your signature with the indication of first and last name, and place of residence to the address: signature@sovest.org 2. To the address contact@sovest.org you can send your opinions about the "Khodorkovsky Case ", about the proceedings of the trial, and also your proposals regarding to the provision of public support for Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Platon Lebedev. Opinions can be expressed in any form: from the basic to the developed analysis. 3. As the sign of participation in this action we propose that you display a yellow-green (or simply green) ribbon (or to fasten one to your car). Yellow and green are the YUKOS’ colors. 4. If you live in Moscow, you can participate in the display of public support. Come to the Meschansky Court (Kalanchevskaya Street, 47, metro "Komsomolskaya") on the days of the trial of Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Platon Lebedev. 5. Tell everybody you know about this action.
